A projekt elsősorban az ugyanilyen című kiadvány összeállítását és megjelentetését célozta. A kiadvány az NKFIH (→) által meghirdetett Tudományos Mecenatúra Pályázat MEC_K 140612 számú projektjének részeként jelent meg. A projekt a Kulturális és Innovációs Minisztérium Nemzeti Kutatási Fejlesztési és Innovációs Alapból nyújtott támogatásával, a MEC_21 kódszámú pályázati program finanszírozásában valósult meg. This page contains the results of the research and project titled “Visual Representation of the The State and the Law”. The project primarily aimed at compiling, editing and publishing the publication of a volume with the same title. It was published as part of the “Tudományos Mecenatúra” Proposals, announced by the NKFIH (National Research, Development and Innovation Office (→), awarded at No. MEC_K 140612. The project itself was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation from the National Research Development and Innovation Fund, fand inanced by the “MEC_21” program.
A kötetről - A few words about the book

E kötet azt mutatja be, hogy e reprezentációnak az elmúlt évszázadokban az állam, a jog és a jogtudomány esetében a vizualitás terén melyek voltak, illetőleg korunkban melyek a legjellegzetesebb megnyilvánulásai. A válogatás elsősorban a vizuális kultúra egy-egy metszetében láttatja tárgyát, s teszi ezt úgy, hogy e metszetek körét, sorát és jellegét elsosorban a tárgy jellemző vonásai és a képi vizualitás már adott lehetőségei, nem pedig a megjelenítés műfaji sajátosságai határozzák meg. A kötet egyfelől nem valamely államról és jogról alkotott elméletnek a képek világára való alkalmazása, másfelől nem egy ikonológiai, szemantikai vagy képekkel kapcsolatos másféle teória tartalmának az állam és jog jelenségein való bemutatása, esetleg bizonyítása. A joghoz, a jogtudományhoz és az államhoz kötődő műalkotások e kötetben található felmutatása a szerző reményei szerint a politikai és a jogi kultúra képekben adott vizuális hagyományainak összefoglalása és a tárgynak megfelelő, azaz tárgyszerű rendezése, mely remélhetőleg felvillantja az e kultúrák mögötti világról való gondolkodás „képi fordulatának” lehetoségét is. |
This volume presents the most characteristic manifestations of this representation of state, law, and jurisprudence in the field of visuality in recent centuries, showing that how they „look like” in our time. The selection of images primarily presents its subject in a particular section of visual culture, and does so in such a way that the range, sequence, and nature of these sections are primarily determined by the characteristic features of the subject and the already given possibilities of pictorial visuality, rather than by the genre-specific characteristics of the presentation. This volume is not an application of a particular theory of state and law to the world of images, nor is it a presentation or perhaps proof of the content of an iconological, semantic or other theory related to images on the phenomena of state and law. Instead, the presentation of artworks and other pictures related to law, jurisprudence and the state in this volume is, according to the author's hopes, a summary of the visual traditions of political and legal culture given in images and their arrangement in a manner appropriate to the subject, i.e. in an object-like manner, which hopefully also flashes the possibility of a "pictorial turn" in thinking about the world behind these cultures. |

A kötet tehát a hazai jog- és államtudományi szakirodalomban úttörő és bizonyos fokig rendhagyó vállalkozás, mely egy részleteiben talán ismert, de ebben az összegzésben eddig ismeretlen táj bebarangolására invitálja az olvasót – elsősorban a joggal, az állammal és a jogtudománnyal professzionális módon foglalkozó szakembereket, illetoleg az ezek iránt érdeklodo muvelt közönséget, ideértve az e jelenségeket tanulmányozó egyetemi hallgatókat is. Szerzője abban bízik, hogy az itt bemutatott anyag áttekintése után az olvasók azt mondják majd: rendhagyó jellege ellenére is érdemes volt lapozgatni e kötetet, nézegetni a képeket, átolvasni a bevezető írásokat és elgondolkodni az állam és a jog vizuális megjelenítésének sokfélesége révén előálló lehetőségeken. |
This volume is therefore a pioneering and, to a certain extent, unconventional undertaking in the Hungarian literature of law and political science, which invites the potentional readers – lawyers, and other professionals dealing with law, state and legal science, as well as the educated public interested in them, including university students studying these phenomena – to wander through a landscape that is perhaps known in detail, but in this summary is hitherto unknown. The author of this volume hopes that readers, after reviewing the material presented here, will say: despite its unconventional nature, it was worth browsing this volume, looking at the images and pictures, reading the introductory essays, and reflecting on the possibilities that arise through the diversity of the visual representation of the state and law. |
